School Induction Programme 2023
October 9 - October 13
Last week, from October 9th to October 13th, I embarked on an extraordinary learning adventure as part of a School Induction Programme. These five days were truly invaluable as they transformed us from students to teachers. We discovered the art of classroom control and building a friendly rapport with students.
Our school HM and teachers, both talented and kind, treated us as equals. They provided us with a full teaching experience, giving us the opportunity to lead classes. As someone who believes that math is often seen as the toughest subject, I was pleasantly surprised to receive positive feedback. The students were genuinely interested in the problems I presented, and they wanted me to continue teaching. It's an immense privilege.
To wrap up this incredible journey, the seven trainees, including myself, express our sincere gratitude to all the teachers and HM who support us and we celebrated our successful induction programme at a local restaurant. These five days will forever be etched in my memory as a truly enriching experience.
